For students who have already achieved a high level of academic excellence, Virginia Tech offers additional incentives and challenges through the University Honors Program. This Program focuses on leadership development and depth of academic achievement.
For students needing academic assistance and support, Virginia Tech offers several levels of tutoring and resources that focus on achieving academic success:
- Instructors: Look on your course syllabi for office hours, and meet with your instructors for assistance. Your instructors are your best source of help with specific course materials!
- Center for Academic Enrichment and Excellence [CAEE] offers academic support through tutoring, seminars, and individual counseling.
- Cook Counseling Center offers seminars and assistance with study skills and any other factors influencing academic performance.
- Departments offer tutoring specific to their courses and majors.
